GPX Surveys & Spectrem Air Ltd - Marketing agreement

May 15, 2013

GPX Surveys (GPX) and Spectrem Air Ltd (Spectrem) are pleased to announce that they have entered into an exclusive agreement for GPX Surveys to market and contract Spectrem surveys in Australia and Asia.

By adding the Spectrem system, GPX Surveys will be able to offer its customers a full suite of airborne geophysical solutions in the Australasian region.

“Having the opportunity to offer the Spectrem time-domain EM system along with our own technologies is very exciting for us and the Spectrem system is a natural addition to our existing technologies.”, said GPX Surveys’ Managing Director Katherine McKenna, “Being a powerful time-domain Electromagnetic system offering superior depth penetration, it complements our own XTEM system and enables us to offer tailored solutions for individual requirements of our clients in various geological settings.”

The Spectrem2000 system is a broadband, time-domain electromagnetic system mounted in a Basler-modified Douglas DC-3 aircraft, one of the safest in the world. Technical reviews, supported by benchmarking exercises and client feedback clearly indicates that Spectrem2000 provides a clear and quantifiable strategic advantage over other systems, both in its mapping application and in its potential for direct detection of deeply buried massive sulphides.

Under the agreement, GPX Surveys will exclusively market and contract Spectrem surveys for private and government projects within Australia and Asia.

The Spectrem system will be arriving in Australia during the winter season of 2013 and enquiries can be made now through GPX Surveys.
